About finally foods

Finally Foods grows dairy proteins inside plants. We were formed in March 2024 and moved from lab to field in ten months. Our first field trials succeeded. We extracted functional casein at scale and secured a commercial partner committed to hundreds of tons. We keep our work practical. Fast design. Accurate execution. Quick to market.

Cultivating the Future of Dairy: The Finally Foods Story

Finally Foods grows dairy proteins inside plants. We were formed in March 2024 and moved from lab to field in ten months. Our first field trials succeeded. We extracted functional casein at scale and secured a commercial partner committed to hundreds of tons. We keep our work practical. Fast design. Accurate execution. Quick to market. We grow plants that express real animal proteins. Our platform can make many types of animal proteins, but we start with casein, the protein that gives cheese its stretch and melt.

Why we exist

the code

Dairy’s feel comes from one thing: casein.

Casein sits at the center of dairy. It creates the stretch and melt we all love. Existing technologies can produce simpler proteins, like whey. They struggle with complex ones, and also rely on capital-intensive systems. Growing casein in plants solves both issues. Our fields give us the volume the industry needs, and our unit economics are competitive to those of dairy casein.

Behind the protein

A single gallon of milk hides a heavy load: 8 pounds of feed, hundreds of gallons of water. A land system where 80% of global agriculture supports livestock. We see that as an opportunity to rebuild supply at the root. Plants, not animals. A cleaner production path that respects scale.

The team

We are a small, experienced team that knows how to move fast and stay accurate. Every person brings years of hands-on work in biotech, plant science, and business development. This is a group built to deliver.
